Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 12.5%
These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

Axos Bank is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and data-driven leader to join our team as the FVP, Head of Digital Marketing and Web Analytics. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our digital marketing and analytics efforts to drive customer acquisition, retention, and business growth across all Consumer and Commercial bank channels. As a key architect of our omnichannel strategy, you will leverage deep industry expertise and advanced analytics to unlock insights, optimize performance, and refine our approach across digital platforms. With a substantial monthly media budget and a highly skilled team at your command, you will lead efforts that are central to our mission of delivering seamless, impactful, and measurable customer experiences.

Reporting to the SVP, Head of Marketing, this position will directly manage team members of varying seniority and will collaborate heavily across marketing, business, product management, martech/centers of excellence, and data analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and execute data-driven strategies to optimize marketing effectiveness across all B2C and B2B paid digital channels. Leverage customer behavior analysis, third-party data, and sales performance insights to shape and drive the digital web marketing and omnichannel strategy. Accountable for defining, measuring, and reporting ROI across digital media acquisition channels to ensure sustainable business growth.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in managing seven-figure monthly budgets aligned with aggressive growth targets. Develop and maintain forecasting models and dashboards across key paid marketing channels, including Affiliate, Search, Social, Display, Programmatic, CTV, TV, and Direct Mail.
- Build, organize, and develop an exceptional team of digital marketers and data analysts. Collaborate with business strategists and product managers to prioritize and maximize the team’s effectiveness and impact, fostering growth at both individual and team levels.
- Lead web and mobile app analytics, developing strategies to enhance data collection, analysis, and insights across consumer platforms. Guide and support business leaders in leveraging data for critical business objectives and strategic goals.
- Bring comprehensive expertise in digital media, web, and mobile app analytics, including mobile SDK implementations. Proven ability to track user behaviors, engagement, retention, and conversions.
- Drive web and mobile app performance optimization, including in-app events, push notifications, and cross-platform tracking to improve engagement, user journey, acquisition, and retention.
- Develop and optimize demand generation efforts, focusing on experimentation and targeting based on customer segments, lifecycle stages, and key attributes across commercial banking verticals.
- Represent the analytics function on cross-functional leadership teams, driving data-informed improvements in customer experience to boost retention and reduce churn. Partner with stakeholders to build a unified, accurate view of the customer across business units for effective acquisition, retention, and segmentation strategies.
- Craft and present data-driven narratives to influence product and strategic decisions, ensuring stakeholders understand the impact of data on marketing performance.
- Develop cross-channel strategies in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies, supporting integrated campaigns, new product launches, and growth initiatives.
- Partner closely with BU Analytics and Finance to optimize attribution models, forecast ROI, and monitor performance, delivering insights to executive leadership.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics, marketing technology, digital and omnichannel marketing. Identify and implement cutting-edge tools and methodologies to drive brand awareness and acquisition growth.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in developing, executing, testing, and reporting across a diverse portfolio of marketing channels, with an emphasis on Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic Display
- 10+ years in ROI-driven performance marketing, with at least 7 years in-house at a high-growth consumer e-commerce brand managing high monthly media spend (7-8 figures) and leading teams for 10+ years
- Minimum 15 years of experience or equivalent expertise in web and e-commerce analytics, with experience in Customer Data Platforms (CDP) for customer acquisition is a plus
- Demonstrated success in testing and scaling new performance marketing channels, managing high-output testing operations to optimize and scale performance across all digital channels
- Deep understanding of the evolving marketing landscape, including tools, systems, and tactics for Advertising, Media, Personalization, Targeting, Measurement, and Attribution
- Skilled in making data-driven decisions, able to synthesize and model incomplete datasets to inform strategies
- Strong leadership presence, with a proven ability to lead directly and influence across complex organizations with competing priorities
- Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation tools, particularly Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and Interaction Studio
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting insights to executive audiences
- Proficient in digital analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Branch, Mixpanel, Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics), with strong preference for expertise in Adobe Analytics
- Proficient in digital reporting tools, including Google Analytics, UTM tracking, and dashboards like Tableau
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)
