Job Summary
As a Fund Services Reconciliation Specialist within our Income Team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and resolving income-related discrepancies. You will oversee the investigation and validation of pay down, interest, and dividend breaks in reconciliation. Your role will be crucial in ensuring all daily controls and processes are completed and signed off, including client service inquiry resolution and cash and stock break management. This role provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills in fund service reconciliation and asset servicing, and contribute significantly to our team's success.
Job Responsibilities

• Manage income-related discrepancies and oversee the investigation and validation of pay down, interest, and dividend breaks in reconciliation (FA vs. Custody).
• Handle the processing and validation of income adjustments, ensuring all daily controls and processes are completed and signed off, including client service inquiry resolution and cash and stock break management.
• Ensure all key metrics are produced within the required timelines and manage event management tasks.
• Take ownership of issues related to the Income Team, ensuring timely escalation to both Operational and Risk leads.
• Continuously review and update Standard Operating Procedures in line with new policies and ongoing risk management activities.
• Assist managers with daily governance and supervisory control implementation, promoting a culture of early and timely escalation, and conducting root cause analysis for operational incidents.
• Organize morning risk review meetings, oversee intraday and end-of-day key sign-off points, ensure client queries are addressed within SLAs, and collaborate with Product Development on MBS & ABS products and FX.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• B.Com, CA, or MBA with a minimum of 8 years of experience in fund service reconciliation, asset servicing, or the investment banking sector.
• Have a strong understanding of financial instruments and fund accounting terminology.
• Exhibit excellent investigation skills with a strong desire to resolve queries efficiently.
• Be deadline-oriented, capable of working effectively under tight deadlines, and a supportive team player focused on overall team success.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and clear, effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Possess operational expertise in areas such as reconciliation and investment banking products like MBS, ABS, and dividends, with a reconciliation background being
