About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire a Fund Origination Associate to support its growing alternative investments direct and registered fund business. This role will report into a Vice President on the Fund Origination team. This individual will focus on manager onboarding and fund lifecycle management. This individual will be responsible for leading and helping manage the onboarding and product lifecycle of various alternative investment vehicles across structures and asset classes prevalent in the market. These will primarily be products created by third party alternative asset managers that are looking to utilize iCapital technology to facilitate the subscription and reporting processes for the wealth management channel. This team stands at the heart of iCapital’s growth into new markets and fund structures.
Responsibilities
- Support projects related to onboarding new funds and working across the organization to assure on-time and successful completion.
- Assist with the preparation, coordination, and publishing of materials related to new fund approvals and new fund launches.
- Prepare and distribute project progress notes.
- Drive prioritization and support building procedures within the iCapital ecosystem related to adding new funds, product structures, expanding product distribution channels and lifecycle management.
- Assist in various ad hoc fund launch activities.
- Work with key wealth management clients and their service providers (attorneys, fund administrators and transfer agents), communicating processes and requirements, recommending best practices and supporting overall project management to launch their funds on the iCapital platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or another related field
- 2-5 years of product experience with exposure to fund administration or fund management
- Experience in alternative investments is a plus
- Positive attitude and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities
- Detail-oriented and a self-starter that is accustomed to project work with tight deadlines
- Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $105,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
