About the role
iCapital’s rapid international expansion creates an opportunity for a passionate professional to join a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment. The Fund Finance Central Services - Analyst role will initially use technology to perform and develop a cash reconciliation process across hundreds of legal entities and their bank accounts. There will also be an investor compliance component for cash movement from the end investor. This role will support multiple teams based in the US with significant growth opportunity as our team in Portugal continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Create and/or enhance the process of cash monitoring of the Feeder funds business. This process includes reconciling the cash position, aiming to predict short-term liquidity needs or surpluses on Private equity feeder funds, given future capital and investment events.
- Perform control procedures on investors funding status, for capital call events for the Feeder Funds business.
- Review distribution wires, when those events occur on Private equity feeder funds.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of Accounting, Audit or Operations experience, with a focus on Private Equity Fund Administration. Feeder fund experience is highly desired.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another business-related field; Chartered Accountant, CPA or other accounting designation is a plus.
- Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Passion for the application of innovative technology.
- Proven ability to multi-task and work both independently and as a collaborative team player in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a global management structure.
- Strong interpersonal skills, being comfortable in dealing with several teams and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn new topics and work in an evolving business environment.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational skills with proficiency in reconciliation of large volumes of data.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office three days, with the flexibility to work remotely two days. Every department has different needs, and some positions will be designated in-office jobs, based on their function.
