Functional Tester/Analyst
On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Functional Tester/Analyst for a contract opportunity in Seattle, WA.
Functional Tester/Analyst Job Details
- Guide and lead efforts to research and perform analysis of complex processes, applications, systems and data to understand and document functional requirements for applications or systems design.
- Be the prime contact to work with business representatives and technical teams to clarify and refine requirements.
- Interprets and translates requirements into functional and technical specifications, standards and processes.
- Develop and execute tests to validate system and application functionality.
- Document, validate and research problems and issues.
- Perform automated testing.
- Create and publish end user training.
- Assist and mentor junior members of the technical team.
Functional Tester/Analyst Mandatory Skills
- Strong technical skills with experience in requirement/use-case gathering and documentation
- Strong background in testing and automated test development
- 9+ years of experience in software engineering as a functional / business analyst
- Knowledge of data, system and application modeling techniques
- Knowledge of Relational Database models, Structured Query Language (SQL) and database concepts
- Working knowledge of Agile Software Development Lifecycle practices
- Able to manage detail consistently and with high-quality results
- Ability to partner with other IT and business resources to resolve technical issues
