Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Functional Tester with strong expertise in manual and automation testing for enterprise web-based applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Selenium (Java) and a working knowledge of Enovia/PLM systems. You will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing including System Testing, Integration Testing, and Regression Testing.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Architects to understand system requirements and convert them into effective test scenarios.
- Design and document test cases and test data based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify, log, and track defects using standard defect tracking tools, and perform retesting to validate fixes.
- Participate in regular test planning, progress reviews, and reporting.
- Ensure test deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing and QA processes.
- Proficient in Selenium (Java) for test automation.
- Strong experience in writing and executing test scenarios and cases from business/system requirements.
- Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong knowledge of different types and levels of testing (System, Regression, UAT, etc.).
- Experience with web-based applications and understanding of web technologies.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA etc).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills.
- Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to SAFe methodologies
- Knowledge in other PLM tools would be an added advantage
