Key
Responsibilities
1. Functional
Safety (ISO 26262)
- Lead creation and development of HARA, FSC,
FSR, TSC, TSR, and safety case.
- Ensure system architecture, design, and
implementation comply with ASIL requirements.
- Drive safety analysis activities, including
FTA, FMEA/DFMEA, FMEDA, and interface safety.
- Define and review safety mechanisms and
technical safety requirements.
- Coordinate confirmation measures, audits, and
assessments.
- Manage safety work products and traceability
throughout the lifecycle.
2. SOTIF
(ISO 21448)
- Lead SOTIF analysis and validation for
perception, decision, and control systems.
- Identify performance limitations, sensor
uncertainties, and unknown unsafe scenarios.
- Support scenario-based validation,
safety-of-intended-function analysis, and risk assessment.
- Work with perception and algorithm teams to
mitigate SOTIF-related risks.
3. System
Engineering Leadership
- Lead cross-functional discussions with
hardware, software, and vehicle integration teams.
- Work with feature system requirements,
interfaces, and state machine behavior for ADAS/AD features.
- Support architecture safety decisions, design
reviews, and supplier technical alignment.
- Manage technical communication with
Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers.
- Ensure alignment with project milestones and
program gates.
4. ADAS System safety
calibration
- Support
system safety tuning and calibration activities for sensors, control
parameters, and algorithm thresholds.
- Conduct subjective and objective safety tuning
sessions on road and proving grounds.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s
degree in electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Automotive, or
related field.
- 6+ years’ experience in automotive
- 2+ years’ Functional Safety (ISO
26262) and ADAS System Engineering for Vietnamese.
- Strong
understanding of ADAS/AD systems (camera, radar, fusion, decision,
control).
- Hands-on
experience with safety analysis tools and safety work products.
- Experience
with requirement management tools (e.g., Codebeamer, Polarion).
Preferred
Qualifications
- SOTIF
(ISO 21448) experience in sensor performance and functional limitations.
- Experience
with OEM/Tier-1 collaboration and supplier management.
- Knowledge
of automotive V-model development, simulation, and validation.
Job Outputs
- ISO
26262 full compliance life cycle delivery for Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part
6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, Part 11 for any one ADAS feature or multiple
ADAS feature.
- Supplier
work product review reports.
- SOTIF
ISO 21448 & UL4600 analysis report.
- Completed
SPIs – Safety performance index reports
- Calibrated
safety tuning parameters or recommendations
- Safety
Case and assessment report with support of supplier.
- Production
operation, service & decommissioning - ODx
- Defect/issue
reports with evidence and analysis
- Final
validation and sign-off package
