Functional consultant, Oracle EBS (m/f/d)

TERP, Treasury and Sourcing technology team in Tietoevry CIO organization is looking for a Functional Consultant to work with Oracle EBS which is the current ERP and core finance tool of Tietoevry.

We would be happy to welcome you to our team of finance service managers, process managers, and developers. Together, we are responsible for the design, development, maintenance, support, documentation, and guidelines related to our ERP system.

With us your main responsibilities would be to

• Provide ongoing ERP system support & maintenance
• Analyse user requirements to determine ERP system configuration and customization 
• Contribute to change specifications in a clear format for developers and testers
• Prepare testing related documentation for the system. 
• Execute testing related to application development or other changes, performance investigations and stress-tests. 
• Contribute to different project assignments as agreed case-by-case basis
• Support IT system and process audits
• Transfers of knowledge to junior staff through consultancy, courses or workshops.

Competence requirements for this role

• Good knowledge about IT and experience Oracle EBS ERP, Jira and Java.
• Technical Mastery: Master Oracle Technology offerings and COTS products such as Oracle Database, Fusion Middleware (Weblogic), Oracle Applications Unlimited (E-Business Suite), and Enterprise Performance Management. Provide top-tier support and advisory services for these technologies.
• Complimentary requirement: Cloud Competence: Provide services and management of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) including tenant governance, deployment, configuration, monitoring, and optimization. Ensure robust security practices, cost management, and high availability to support our OCI clients' business objectives effectively 

Other key qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or similar. 
• Understanding of finance-related business processes
• Service-minded and problem-solving attitude 
• Analytical thinking and ability to work with business requirements
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently and take initiative

• Ability to complete tasks within planned timeframes

Considered an advantage:

• Oracle certificates and experience of other ERPs
• Fluent written and spoken Latvian
• Knowledge and/or experience of Oracle APEX
