This is a fully on-site position in Oklahoma City, OK.
Job Description
- participate in gathering requirements, including leading, designing and providing guidance on recommendations.
- collaborate with the client on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current processes, including:
- advising on system options,
- risk, cost vs. benefits and impacts.
- ensuring all systems are aligned with the IT long term strategy.
- identifying, recommending and implementing complex configuration solutions and
- implementing full cycle configuration to meet business needs, while creating and updating associated documentation
- set the testing strategy for modules and lead end to end integration testing.
- participate in the delivery of project and minor/major releases.
- troubleshoot and lead the evaluation and design of the correction for complex incidents
- maintain a high level of functional competency by staying abreast of new trends, future enhancements and leveraging best practices.
- Pull Product Backlog Items (PBI)s from the Azure DevOps O&M board to analyze and to document findings.
- Participate in user story grooming sessions and coordinates with FMIS Product Owner team to create user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps.
- Coordinate with development team to ensure that the development team fully understands the scope of the user story.
- Analyze work requests received from customer.
- Ensure requirements are documented - Create/Update Functional Requirements documentation.
- Participate in requirement and design reviews.
- Review requirements and design documents.
- Review system design documents.
- Review test plans and test results.
- Reviews release items for production implementation.
- Review Release Notes.
- Conduct knowledge transfer to client staff.
Qualifications
- Eight years of progressive experience in respective area.
- Must have a detailed knowledge of respective organizational practices, procedures, policies, and methodologies pertaining to the management and administration of automated Government systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other related discipline.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and technical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to clear a federal background investigation - Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card
- Workdays: Monday-Friday
