The RoleWe’re looking for an exceptional Fullstack Engineer to help us build the next great fintech platform. You’ll join a small, fast-moving team building high-impact products across accounting, tax, and banking. You’ll own features end-to-end and contribute across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and architecture.
ResponsibilitiesBuild and scale Haven’s core platform across tax, accounting, and banking
Take ownership of the full software lifecycle — scoping, building, testing, deploying
Collaborate with product and design to ship features that delight customers
Write scalable backend code and craft refined, performant frontends
Contribute to infrastructure, observability, and system reliability
Help shape our technical roadmap and engineering best practices
Cloud: GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL Postgres, Pub/Sub, Terraform)
Languages: TypeScript, Python (typed), Rust
Frameworks: React, Next.js, Slonik, Axum, SQLx, Django
3+ years of experience as a fullstack or backend engineer
Experience with modern frameworks (React/Next.js, Django, etc.)
Proficiency in at least one typed language (TypeScript, Rust, etc.)
Strong product intuition and ability to work cross-functionally
Experience with system design and building scalable services
Excellent communication skills; startup or fintech experience a plus
Salary: $120,000 – $200,000 USD
Equity: 0.25% – 2%
