Fullstack Developer

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

To be successful as a “Full Stack Developer ", you should have experience with:

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

• Expert level Java development  with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.  

• Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) for building production grade services (Express, NodeJS), including API design, testing, and operational runbooks. 

• Strong knowledge of AWS deployments, architecture patterns, and cloud native design.  

• Solid understanding of DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.  

• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and container deployment strategies. 

• Mastery of SQL and schema design; experience with RDS engines (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle) and NoSQL (DynamoDB/MongoDB). 

• Performance tuning (indexes, query plans), replication/high availability, connection pooling, and secrets management. 

• Familiarity with authentication and security standards (SAML, OIDC, JWT).  

• Experience with monitoring stacks (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, etc.).  

• Strong debugging, problem solving, and system design skills.  

• Clear communicator who collaborates effectively with engineering, product, security, and platform teams. 

• Ownership mindset, bias for action, and continuous improvement in fast‑paced, distributed environments. 

• Writes concise docs/runbooks and simplifies complex technical topics for diverse audiences. 

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

• Experience with largescale migration/modernization programs.  

• Java performance tuning (Amazon Corretto/OpenJDK).  

• Caching (Redis/Memcached) and API gateway patterns; data security (encryption at rest/in transit), and compliance aware data handling. 

• Data security & compliance awareness (KMS, envelope encryption, secrets managers, data classification). 

• Good understanding of authentication standards and technologies: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, Kerberos, mTLS, JWT .

• Good understanding of entitlements management.

This role will be based out of Pune.
