- Foster and maintain effective relationships inside and outside the art department.
- Come up with innovative ways to solve problems quickly to unblock other teams.
- Be a jack of all trades when necessary to generate the largest impact.
- Work directly with artists, programmers and other designers to contribute to the vision of the game.
- Ensure documentation is up to date at all times.
- Review game design documents and provide feedback.
- Help implement low-level subsystems for new platforms.
- Participate in production related meetings as and when necessary.
Job requirements
- One year of experience in the game programming is an added advantage.
- Experience with leading game engine such as Unity or Unreal.
- Experience with game prototyping.
- Well versed in C++, Blueprint (unreal) or C#.
- Flexible to learning other languages and software.
- Able to create dummy art assets (2D or 3D graphics) for use in the prototypes.
- Able to create tools to help improve pipeline and optimize workflow for artists.
- Excellent problem-solving and trouble shooting skills.
- Experience working with GIT, SVN or perforce.
- Have a great interest in games.
- Experience in web development is a plus.
- Good technical understanding.
- Desire to learn and develop.
- Strong communication skills in English, with other languages is a plus.
