Conversant Group is an IT infrastructure and security consulting company founded in 2009 and based in Chattanooga, TN. We are the world’s first Civilian Cybersecurity Force, dedicated to defeating cyber terrorists. To do so, Conversant Group is organized into three battalions: Athena7 which provides infrastructure assessment, strategy and remediation, Grypho5 which offers ongoing managed protection, and Fenix24 which provides rapid restoration in case of a cyberattack.
We are searching for a Full Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in .NET and Microsoft Azure to join our newly established software team. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in the development, deployment, and scaling of our SaaS application. This position requires a blend of front-end and back-end development skills, as well as a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient full stack applications using .NET technologies.
- Leverage Microsoft Azure cloud services for deploying and managing web applications, databases, and storage solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features and functionalities.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Implement security and data protection solutions.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing.
- Monitor and optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications, Requirements, Preferred Skills
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Extensive experience in designing and developing software with Microsoft .NET framework and related technologies.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar version control and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with modern software development practices and tools, including Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
