P3S Corporation is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to support technology solutions for our federal government customers.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, integration, and ongoing improvement of secure, scalable applications. You will work collaboratively with technical and program teams to turn operational requirements into dependable software solutions.

Security Clearance Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• Active Top Secret clearance or higher is preferred.
• Candidates must maintain all required security and customer eligibility requirements associated with the position.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications across the full technology stack.
• Develop and optimize backend services using Java, with an emphasis on secure, efficient, and high-performance data processing.
• Build, integrate, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs to support reliable communication between applications and services.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and user-focused front-end solutions using JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, product stakeholders, designers, and other team members to translate business and mission requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve application and system issues across the technology stack.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Apply sound software development practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Take ownership of assigned development efforts and contribute to the timely delivery of secure, high-quality software.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience, including experience with:

• Java
• JavaScript
• Modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Hands-on use of Ansible
• Developing, building, consuming, integrating, and/or securing RESTful APIs
• SQL and/or NoSQL database technologies, including platforms such as:
• PostgreSQL
• MySQL
• MongoDB
• Elasticsearch
• Node.js
• Modern software development practices and application development lifecycles
• Code-assist or AI-enabled development technologies such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini Code Assist, Amazon CodeWhisperer, or comparable tools

Preferred Qualifications

Additional experience in any of the following areas is a plus:

• Docker and/or Podman
• Linux environments
• AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Apache Spark and distributed data processing
• Accumulo, Hadoop, Zookeeper, YARN, or comparable data-ecosystem technologies
• Development within federal government or Department of Defense environments
• DoD 8140-aligned certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CASP+, or similar cybersecurity credentials
