The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own product features from the first customer conversation through design, implementation, release and live monitoring across the whole stack. A large share of the work involves applied AI, including conversational applications and the quality checks that make them dependable. The position is fully remote and aligned to Indian Standard Time working hours.
What you'll do
- Deliver features end-to-end on a weekly cadence, from scoping with customers to release and monitoring in production.
- Build conversational AI agents for voice and email, including the real-time audio pipeline and the orchestration logic around language models.
- Add deterministic rules and safeguards so that critical values and actions stay correct.
- Create a quality framework for AI behavior, using curated test data, checks before and after release, and validation that the agents call their tools properly.
- Build search and matching features on vector-based techniques, tuned for cost and responsiveness as usage grows.
- Set up monitoring and tracing that serves engineers, product teams and customers.
- Apply product judgment to separate one-off requests from signals worth building around.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of professional software engineering with end-to-end ownership across a full stack.
- Strong experience with Python and TypeScript/React, plus a modern React framework and a hosted backend platform.
- Hands-on experience taking LLM-based features into production, including tool-calling and retrieval.
- Practical experience with agent or voice frameworks, or comparable tools.
- Skill in verifying that AI systems behave correctly before users report problems.
- Solid system-design fundamentals, including real-time data handling, parallel processing and databases, with a cost-aware view of scale.
- Experience monitoring live systems and releasing changes safely in stages.
- Strong product instincts and comfort bridging customer needs with technical execution.
- Comfort with ambiguity and making high-stakes decisions on limited data.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment on an extended schedule.
- Currently residing in India and able to work Indian Standard Time hours.
Bonus points
- Experience with voice or real-time systems, including speech processing and telephony.
- Background as a founding or early-stage engineer.
- Familiarity with functional or hardware description languages.
- Experience with multi-agent or other complex tool-use systems.
- Public code contributions or substantial personal projects.

Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: USD 60,000 to 108,000 per year
