What will you do?
The Full Stack Software Engineer will design, build and maintain a Singapore government web portal for grassroots leaders. Deliver features from React and TypeScript interfaces through C# and ASP.NET Core APIs, automated testing, CI/CD and deployment; and work with product, UX, QA, DevOps and architecture teams to deliver secure, accessible software and support it in production.
- Develop responsive, accessible web interfaces using React, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
- Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Integrate the web portal with backend APIs and external systems as required.
- Implement data access and schema changes using SQL and Entity Framework Core or equivalent.
- Write frontend and backend unit and integration tests, and participate in code reviews.
- Use Git and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests and deployments.
- Work with DevOps to deploy and configure the application across environments.
- Apply secure coding practices for input validation, access control and secrets management.
- Use logs and metrics to diagnose issues and support SIT, UAT and production releases.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with UX, QA, DevOps, product and architecture teams.
Requirements
- Hands-on React and TypeScript development, including component design and state management.
- Entity Framework Core, database migrations and query performance tuning.
- C# and ASP.NET Core development, including REST API design, integration and error handling.
- SQL and relational database fundamentals, including schema design and queries.
- Git and pull request workflows, with automated testing in React and .NET.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps delivery practices.
- Familiarity with cloud deployment, Docker, logging, monitoring and IAM fundamentals. - Secure coding, authentication and authorization fundamentals.
Experience and Certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Software Engineering or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- Min. 3–5 years of professional software development with full stack responsibilities.
- Production experience delivering React and TypeScript web applications.
- Production experience building C# and ASP.NET Core services or REST APIs.
- Experience using Git, automated testing and CI/CD in an Agile team.
- Experience troubleshooting web, API and database issues across environments.
- Desirable / Good-to-have
- Experience supporting cloud deployments and containerized applications.
- Experience delivering secure enterprise or Singapore Government digital services.
- Exposure to production monitoring, performance tuning and incident/problem resolution.
