Full-Stack Product Engineer

Proofs is a well-funded, pre-seed stage startup leveraging AI agents for code generation to boost sales engineering teams’ productivity by enabling them to build great software more efficiently and at a faster pace.

Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Full-Stack Product Engineer to join our team. The main focus of this role will be to build user- and developer-facing experiences across our product's frontend, and backend parts, as well as tooling and integrations.

Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of experience in software development across backend and frontend.

• 5+ years of experience in JavaScript.

• 3+ years of experience in TypeScript.

• 3+ years of experience in Python.

• Couple of months experience in experimenting with various AI tools (like GitHub Copilot) and incorporating them into your own workflow.

• Experience with LLMs, Machine Learning is a plus.

• Appreciation, and passion for well designed user experiences, thoughtful architecture and clean code.

• Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated ability and eagerness to quickly get up to speed with unfamiliar environments, frameworks, concepts, and programming languages.

• Experience in independently architecting and implementing complex systems.

• Proven capacity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly explain complex concepts.

• Strong programming skills, experience with best practices, and proven intuition in picking the right approach, tool, framework, and mental model for the job, time, and context.

• Side projects, contributions to open-source projects or research communities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype and build user- and developer-facing tools, including web interfaces, command-line tools, APIs, and integrations.

• Closely collaborate with product, design and research teams in order to turn newly validated ideas into shipped features.

• Actively participate in improving our internal AI-powered dev toolchain.

• Write clean, readable, and high-quality code as well as review other team members’ work and provide thoughtful feedback.
