Job Overview: We are seeking a talented Full-Stack (MERN) Developer to join our team and build high-quality, scalable enterprise applications, with a focus on Insurance and Financial Services solutions. You will collaborate with clients, delivery teams, and stakeholders to design and implement innovative solutions that meet complex business and technical requirements. This role requires hands-on expertise in both front-end and back-end development, cloud deployments, and modern application architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack (MERN) enterprise applications in alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate directly with clients to capture, clarify, and document business and functional needs.
- Propose, present, and defend technical solution approaches, providing architectural and engineering guidance.
- Deliver innovative solutions to address complex business and technical challenges.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance application quality and engineering efficiency.
- Build responsive, high-quality front-end components using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Develop scalable back-end services with Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Express.
- Implement solutions using serverless and Function-as-a-Service (FaaS) architectures such as Azure Functions.
Required Background
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Full-Stack (MERN) Developer/Engineer.
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications in public cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Proven ability to build responsive front-end applications with React.
- Strong back-end development skills using Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Express.
- Proficiency in Git/Bitbucket for version control.
- Experience with Agile or hybrid methodologies using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with MongoDB or similar document-oriented databases.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of Camunda or other BPM/workflow automation tools.
- Experience in InsurTech or FinTech is highly preferred.
