The Role

TRIC Robotics is revolutionizing crop protection and sustainable farming. By combining ultraviolet (UV) light, robotics, and deep hands-on farm experience, we’ve developed a patented technology that delivers the most effective chemical-free approach to controlling pests and diseases in fruit production.

Starting in California strawberries, we have quickly gained momentum with commitments from farmers, industry leaders, and investors. Now, we are growing our team.

We’re looking for passionate, driven individuals who want to join an innovative, fast-moving company transforming the way our food is grown. If you’re excited to shape the future of sustainable agriculture through real-world impact and cutting-edge technology, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Build intuitive and responsive front-end interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue)
  • Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues in production and field environments
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and technical roadmap planning

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a full stack developer
  • Proficiency in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js)
  • Experience with back-end development using Python (e.g., Flask, Django, or FastAPI) or Node.js
  • Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and modern software architecture patterns
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with IoT or robotics-related systems
  • Familiarity with MQTT, ROS, or similar communication protocols
  • Experience building map-based or geospatial interfaces (e.g., Mapbox, Leaflet)
  • DevOps experience (Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.)
