What you will do
- Work closely with our product team to deliver valuable enhancements incrementally.
- Build features across stack with, but not limited to: Typescript, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, Node.js, Python, REST, Docker.
- Build APIs and SDKs to access ML/DL models.
- Define testable technical specifications with edge cases, security, and scalability in mind.
- Build, test, tune and debug across the entire production stack.
- Work in a Scrum engineering process environment.
- Work in a customer-focused, lean engineering and evolving late-stage startup environment.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent computational science degree.
- 2-5+ years experience with SaaS backend engineering, with Node.js, Typescript and/or Python, with a Github and Terraform-based CI/CD deployment system.
- Experience building end-to-end capabilities.
- Experience working with microservices.
- Drive and ambition to be an owner.
- Polyglot engineer mindset.
- Deep expertise in backend with front-end skills and exposure, and a willingness to jump into unfamiliar areas.
- Strong preference for candidates based in the Seattle, WA area.
