At Offchain Labs, we steward the giant technical ecosystem around Arbitrum technology bridging across a broad variety of products and use cases. As part of the Full Stack Engineering team at Offchain Labs, you'll be leading the effort to develop and optimize our tech, including consumer-facing dApps, UIs and server-side apps, using your expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript. We’re looking for someone who is genuinely excited about blockchain, has excellent communication abilities and is enthusiastic to learn more from the team, including our CTO.
What you'll do:
- Contribute as an expert in JavaScript and TypeScript, using web technologies like React and Next.js, mobile technologies like React Native, and Web3 tooling like Ethers and Viem
- Work on UIs, SDKs, developer tooling, and consumer-facing applications focused on blockchain technology, onchain apps, Ethereum scaling, and Arbitrum
- Keep up-to-date on the latest technologies and developments in the space
- Communicate in a style that is open, transparent, and direct, and consistently work in tight collaboration both with your teammates and other teams
- Look for ways to help out beyond the scope of your day-to-day work
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years of hands-on full-stack engineering experience
- Mastered CS fundamentals, either through a formal university program or through self-learning
- Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, with strong proficiency in building web applications using React and Next.js
- Bonus: Proficiency in React Native for mobile app development
- Dabbled in, educated yourself on, or are experienced working on blockchain technology
- Track record of successfully shipping products to customers
- A strong sense of ownership in your work, which drives you to find ways to do things better and faster
- A detail-oriented approach to work, always making sure to output high-quality work through rigorous testing
- A security-first mindset, proactively identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities in code
- A curious mind, constantly on the lookout for new technologies and innovative ways to solve complex problems through experimentation
- A collaborative, open communication style, with a willingness to embrace feedback and pursue continuous self-improvement
