Summary:
As a Full Stack Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive system features that span from user interface elements to backend services. The role requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of innovative solutions. The engineer actively explores and applies emerging technologies to address complex business challenges, maintaining a focus on cloud-first strategies and agile methodologies. This position demands adaptability and creativity to enhance client services through robust and scalable software development.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the design and implementation of system features ensuring alignment with project goals and client requirements.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to optimize workflows and improve overall project delivery.
- Apply approved AI coding assistants to Kafka producers, consumers, stream-processing logic, and configuration for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and integration testing. Validate correctness, security, message ordering, delivery semantics, idempotency, schema compatibility, dependency risk, and throughput before deployment protect client data and retain human review accountability.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Kafka.
- Experience with distributed messaging systems and event-driven architecture.
- Strong knowledge of backend and frontend development frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment strategies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
- Experience in agile software development practices and continuous integration.
- AI Technical Skills: Hands-on use of approved coding assistants (for example, GitHub Copilot) with context-rich prompting, generated-code review, and automated test validation. Ability to build Kafka event pipelines supporting AI inference, embedding updates, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) data ingestion through approved downstream services. Handle schema evolution, retries, dead-letter processing, backpressure, and traceability. Evaluate end-to-end response quality, latency, cost, prompt-injection resistance, and sensitive-data handling with AI service teams. AI tech stack: Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams or approved client libraries, Java/Python, LLM APIs, and project-approved retrieval/vector-store integrations. Framework and platform choices are project-dependent.
-Knowledge of Capital Markets and Investment Management, with experience across securities, trading, portfolio management, investment operations, and related financial services processes.
- Managerial Skills: Plan and coordinate Kafka platform and integration delivery, capacity requirements, releases, and cross-team dependencies manage operational risks and incident escalations, communicate service priorities, and mentor engineers.
- Architectural Skills: Define Kafka event topology, topic and partition strategy, schema governance, producer/consumer contracts, and stream-processing patterns assess delivery semantics, ordering, replay, resilience, security, observability, and throughput trade-offs.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Apache Kafka.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
