We're looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team at Ekumen.
In this role, you will join a high-impact team building core capabilities for a cutting-edge, enterprise-level technology platform. You will be in charge of developing complex, scalable workflows and system integrations that drive the platform's underlying architecture.
You will build various types of services, collaborate directly with product managers, and design end-to-end features. If you love iterating quickly, navigating technical ambiguity, and delivering tangible value to users in a fast-paced environment, this is the team for you.
What you’ll doDesign, implement, and maintain robust backend and frontend services using Go, TypeScript, and Angular.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate high-level requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Iterate quickly on feature development, ensuring high-quality delivery that brings real value to end-users.
Build and manage seamless integrations and infrastructure workflows using Kubernetes and Bazel.
Interact with advanced database and authorization systems, including Firestore, Spanner, and SpiceDB.
Write clean, testable, and well-documented code, ensuring reliability through end-to-end testing with tools like Cypress.
Participate in code reviews and share ideas that raise the bar for our engineering practices.
Proven experience of +4 years as a Software Engineer (Full Stack preferred).
Strong proficiency in Go and/or TypeScript (with experience in frontend frameworks like Angular).
Solid problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to iterate rapidly.
A collaborative mindset and proactive attitude.
Strong English communication skills (B2/C1 level). You'll often interact 1:1 with native speakers.
Comfort dealing with uncertainty and the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements.
Excellent stakeholder management skills: the ability to facilitate discussions and drive consensus on feature direction.
Experience designing and writing comprehensive technical documentation.
A strong foundation in software architecture and distributed system design.

Skills Required
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend development.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and proactive attitude.
- Proficient English language skills (B2/C1), comfortable in 1:1 conversations with native speakers.
- Experience with Apache Beam or Apache Spark.
- Experience with observability tools and concepts (logging, metrics, tracing).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms.
