We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer who is comfortable working across both frontend and backend systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining and extending existing platforms while also building new applications and services from the ground up.
You’ll work across PHP/Laravel, Vue, Python, and FastAPI to enhance the client’s core platform, improve and expand APIs, and develop standardized, reusable satellite applications.
- Maintain, enhance, and extend the existing PHP/Laravel platform
- Develop and improve frontend functionality using Vue
- Design, build, and integrate APIs across internal and external systems
- Improve the structure, documentation, reliability, and usability of existing APIs
- Build Python-based applications and services using FastAPI
- Develop standardized and reusable satellite applications for customers
- Troubleshoot existing applications and implement performance and reliability improvements
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and ongoing application improvements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience with PHP and Laravel
- Hands-on experience with Vue
- Professional experience with Python
- Experience building APIs and integrations
- Experience with FastAPI or a similar Python web framework
- Ability to work across both frontend and backend systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and contributing quickly to existing codebases
The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
