Full Stack Engineer (focus on Python)

The role

The team for this role is responsible for the funeral care product that is constantly evolving. An interesting mix of technologies is being used, such as Vue and Python. The most exciting part of the work is the collaboration not only with the engineers but with the other expertise, such as business, design and content creation while delivering a high-quality solution. 

We are looking for a Python engineer who has experience in working on the Frontend with either of the following: Vue/React/Angular.

As a Python engineer you will be responsible for the product backlog focusing on both Backend and Frontend, as per roadmap requirements.

What's important to us

• You have a technical-related degree and/or equivalent professional qualification

• At least 3 years of professional experience

• You are communicative and have an open-minded personality

• You are fluent in English (both written and oral)

• Strong proficiency in Backend development

• Experience in Python

• Frontend expereince - Vue.js preferred but other frontend experience considered React/Angular

• Willingness to work on both frontend and backend in the product team through PLCM

• Ability to apply architectural and design patterns with a focus on quality, readability and maintainability

• Experience with automated testing frameworks

• Working experience with AWS or other cloud providers

• Previous experience working in pairs and/or ensembles and with TDD

• Working experience with Contentful or other content management systems

• Experience with configuring and using CI/CD tools – e.g GitLab and Jenkins

• Working in an agile team, with a good understanding of the concepts, practical experience
