CUSTOMER
Our Customer is a leading innovator in the music technology industry, dedicated to transforming how musicians interact with sheet music. Their portfolio includes advanced Optical Music Recognition systems and cross-platform applications that enhance music performance and accessibility worldwide.
PROJECT
The project focuses on developing and enhancing a comprehensive sheet music technology ecosystem. This includes cross-platform mobile applications, single-page web applications, and a proprietary Sheet Music Core engine integrated with Optical Music Recognition technology. The goal is to deliver accurate, high-performance, and user-friendly solutions for musicians globally.
Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile and web applications within the sheet music ecosystem
- Enhance the proprietary Sheet Music Core engine and OMR system to improve accuracy and performance
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver robust, scalable solutions
- Ensure code quality through reviews, documentation, and adherence to Agile best practices
- Integrate back-end services with front-end applications, ensuring seamless user experiences
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across platforms
- 3–5 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with strong back-end focus
- Proven system design skills for scalable back-end systems
- Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and data structures
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrations
- Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, Firebase (auth)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to work independently and master complex business logic
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with US-based Customers
WILL BE A PLUS
- Mobile app development experience (cross-platform) with CapacitorJS or similar
- Experience with Vue.js and TypeScript
- Knowledge of Apple Developer and Google Play Developer platforms
