We’re always excited to meet great talent for this role. Even if there isn’t an immediate opening, we keep applications on file and connect with candidates when new opportunities arise.
About The RoleThis role sits on one of Float’s product-focused engineering squads, responsible for building end-to-end experiences used daily by thousands of Canadian businesses. You’ll work across the stack to deliver intuitive, reliable, and scalable product features that directly impact customers’ financial workflows.
We are hiring across multiple levels for this role. As Float continues to grow, there are meaningful opportunities to expand ownership, deepen technical impact, and take on broader responsibility regardless of starting level.
This role is well-suited for developers who enjoy product thinking, end-to-end ownership, and balancing speed with quality in a high-autonomy environment.

Collective Bar Raising
We hire for character, curiosity, and learning velocity before credentials. Titles matter less than impact, and growth is expected as scope and ownership increase.

Team members within commuting distance of our Toronto office work in a hybrid model, while those based farther away primarily work remotely with occasional travel to Toronto for in-person time.
