Full Stack Developer

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an analytical, results-driven Full Stack JavaScript Developer in our Lahore & Islamabad office who will work with team members to develop and maintain various features in all the application areas. The Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users. You should have excellent communication, computer, and self management skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write scalable and highly maintainable architecture for the both front-end and back-end
  

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript ecosystem both at front-end and back-end
  

• Manage and perform activities for the complete development cycle
  

• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels super fast
  

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both web and mobile platforms
  

• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality
  

• Architecting, planning and delivering the new features
  

• Work closely with other teams: Product manager, Developers (internal and external), QA, Designers, Data scientists, etc.
  

• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
  

• Working knowledge of database systems such as MongoDB, MySql, etc.
  

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  

• Hands-on experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
  

• Understanding of software development standards
  

• Debugging, code optimization, and performance improvements experience
  

• Nice to have:
  

• Experience with TypeScript
  

• Experience with Docker
  

• Experience with Amazon Web Services / AWS / Azure
  

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or closely related
  

• 1-3 years of professional software development experience in JavaScript ecosystem (React, Angular, Node)
  

• Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  

• Solid foundation in JavaScript fundamentals and up-to-date with latest developments in the JavaScript ecosystems
  

• Ability to take extreme ownership over your work. Every day is a challenge to ensure you are performing to the expectations you and your team have agreed upon, both in regards to estimates and to the general process
