What will you be doing in this role?
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based web applications using Spring / Spring Boot.
- Implement and expose RESTful APIs for integration with internal and external systems.
- Develop and maintain complex information systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Participate in system architecture and technical design decisions.
- Apply object-oriented design principles and best practices.
- Develop and maintain frontend components using Angular or Kendo UI.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs.
- Ensure responsive UI design and good user experience.
- Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit.
- Use Maven for dependency management, build automation, and project packaging.
- Containerize applications using Docker.
- Work within Agile / SCRUM teams.
- Contribute to user story analysis, estimation, and refinement.
- Collaborate closely with analysts, architects, testers, and stakeholders.
Requirements
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Master degree in IT or related field and 13 years of professional experience in IT.
- 6 years of experience with Java web application development (of which, at least 3 years of development experience with Java Spring and REST API development).
- Experience in development of complex information systems.
- 3 years of experience in frontend development using Angular or Kendo UI.
- 2 years of experience with Agile software development (refactoring, test-driven development, user story modelling).
- Good knowledge of Atlassian systems (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence).
- Good knowledge of Maven, Docker, Junit.
- Experience with Git and VS Code (or JetBrains IDEs).
- Knowledge of the SCRUM development methodology is an advantage.
- Fluent in English at least at a level B2.
