What You’ll Do
- Architect & Build: Design and lead the development of highly scalable, secure, and resilient systems across our entire stack; from our Rust (Axum) / Nest.js backend services to Next.js webapps and Subgraphs indexer.
- On-Chain Development: Design, write, deploy, and maintain secure, gas-efficient, and upgradeable smart contracts in both Solidity or CosmWasm.
- Infrastructure Ownership: Work closely with our DevOps team in managing and scaling our Kubernetes infrastructure, optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring robust monitoring and observability.
- Technical Strategy: Collaborate closely with product and leadership to translate business goals into a concrete technical roadmap, make key architectural decisions, and drive technical innovation within the company.
- Problem Solving: Tackle the most complex, cross-functional technical challenges, from optimizing L1 performance to designing secure cross-chain communication protocols.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in high-performance, high-stakes environments.
- Polyglot Expertise: Deep, hands-on mastery of both Rust, TypeScript/Node.js, and Subgraphs. Experience with Substreams is an advantage.
- Web Framework Mastery: Proven experience building and scaling complex applications using Next.js and Cloudflare Workers.
- Smart Contract Veteran: You have shipped and secured production-grade smart contracts in Solidity (with wagmi and foundry) or CosmWasm (with cosmjs). Experience with both is a massive advantage.
- Infrastructure Expert: Expert-level understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architecture. You don't just use k8s; you understand it.
- Degen: Strong blockchain knowledge, including nodes, consensus mechanisms (PoW, PoS), web3 wallets and dapp development
- Proven Mentor: A genuine passion for mentorship with a track record of elevating the technical skills of your peers.
Nice-to-Haves
- Direct experience with the Cosmos SDK and/or Ethereum.
- A deep understanding of RWA (Real World Asset) tokenization or the TradFi ecosystem.
- Experience in designing and implementing on-chain governance or complex DeFi protocols.
- Active contributions to open-source Web3 or systems-level projects.
