We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend/Full-Stack Engineer to play a leading role in the development of the end-to-end stack that allows our coaches to support our clients through our app.

• The candidate should be familiar with the whole full-stack development and have deep experience in building back-end services in a cloud-based, microservices environment.
• You will tackle problems of increasing complexity and will take ownership for designing, implementing and deploying significant components, including a cutting edge AI stack which automates key parts of the workflow of human coaches.
• You have a greater focus on Operational Excellence, identifying problems and proposing solutions.
• You will also work on the development of the end-to-end stack for our consumer facing app through our IOS, web and Android app.
• You will work closely with the founder and collaborate with the rest of the team in a cross functional approach. 

Tech stack:
 

• LangGraph, LangSmith, Braintrust for LLM orchestration, observability, and agentic reasoning
• Embeddings and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for semantic search and context-aware responses
• Conversational client interface: Flutter for iOS and Android (we might move to React Native)
• Coach dashboard web app: Next.js
• Backend with Supabase ecosystem: Supabase database (PostgreSQL), Supabase functions, Supabase authentication (OAuth 2.0), storage, and real-time messaging

Senior experience is not required for graduate students

You are a seasoned growth-focused Technology leader – leading from the front providing strategic insight and technical knowledge to design and deliver on the technology roadmap (capable of being a tech architect).

• Have a background working in a start-up or similar high velocity environment where speed of shipment is key
• Have an in-depth understanding of the entire development process (design, development and deployment) and interested in the end-to-end picture
• You have experience/knowledge of working with a range of tech across web, app and full-stack tech with a focus on backend services in a cloud-based, microservices environment (ideally GCP)
• Experience making build vs buy decisions in context of fast-moving startups
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming techniques: streams, event-based flows, task queues, message queues
• Actively codes or willing to code
• Takes accountability for delivery
• Having a collaborative work style that includes colleagues in important decisions and leads to shared code ownership
• Strong product thinker and sense to help the product team make the right decisions that factor the technical considerations
• Clear and transparent communication re estimations, deadlines, quality, risks across business and tech
• Capable to challenge strong business stakeholders in an objective manner and find agreement
• Experience in building LLM powered agents and ability to code on Flutter is a plus (not a requirement)
• Experience with LangGraph and its application in orchestrating multi-step LLM workflows is a plus; familiarity with LangSmith for observability and debugging, and Braintrust for agentic reasoning and orchestration is highly desirable

Compensation & benefits 

• Salary $100-150k pa  
• 90% contribution to private insurance
