Java Developer – Full Stack

Location: Dallas

Compensation: Starting at $35/hour+ (based on experience and skillset)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline — or equivalent experience/training.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional Java development experience.

Technical Skills & Experience:

Programming & Frameworks:

• Strong proficiency in Java and core coding concepts.
• Experience with:
• Java EE technologies
• Spring Framework
• Microservices Architecture
• Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)

Front-End & UI Development:

• Rich Internet Applications (RIA) using:
• React or AngularJS
• JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML5

Application & Web Servers:

• IBM WebSphere
• Apache Tomcat / tcServer

Version Control & Collaboration:

• Subversion (SVN)
• Git

Web Services & APIs:

• WSDL, SOAP, JAX-WS, XML RPC, JAXB, RESTful services

Database Technologies:

• Java Database Frameworks: Hibernate, JPA
• Relational Databases: Oracle RDBMS, SQL Server
• NoSQL Databases: MongoDB, CouchDB, CosmosDB

Messaging Systems:

• RabbitMQ
• IBM MQ

Cloud & DevOps:

• Proven experience in cloud-based development (Azure preferred)
• Familiarity with DevOps toolchains including CI/CD practices

Development Methodologies:

• Agile (Scrum) experience
• Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
