M9 Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Developer to work hybrid remote/on-site on a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Employ software development techniques and methodologies for solving complex analytical challenges in support of national security threats.
- Use software development skills to automate manual analytical processes.
- Develop across the stack, including front-end user interfaces, back-end microservices, web services, cloud architectures, and persistent data stores.
- Deploy developed IT solutions, user applications, databases, and other IT capabilities.
- Design and develop specialized user solutions, applications, and databases using a hybrid Agile approach within a DevOps environment.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and databases.
- Maintain code integrity and organization; knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Utilize cloud message APIs and implement push notifications.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and launch new features, including deployment coordination and documentation.
- Support off-hours deployments, including evenings or weekends.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with cloud architectures and enabling tools/technologies such as AWS Cloud (GovCloud/C2S) and Amazon Web Managed Services.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular, Typescript, Node.js, MongoDB, JSON, SQL, XML.
- High-level experience in backend programming languages including Java/Spring and Python.
- Working knowledge of datastores such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, Redshift, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with technologies including jQuery, ASP/.Net, NoSQL, PL/SQL, LDAP, HTTP, REST/SOAP, RDBMS.
- Experience with Configuration Management and CI tools: Git/Gitlab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Ansible, Chef.
- Comfortable in Linux/Unix server environments.
- Experience with Agile development methodology.
- Working knowledge of collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with platforms and services such as Docker, Kubernetes, JMS/SQS/SNS, Kafka, AWS Lambda, NiFi.
- Familiarity with public key infrastructure and digital certificates.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and patterns: Mocha/Chai, JUnit, NUnit, TestNG.
- Experience in DevOps environments.
- Expertise in COTS, GOTS, and open-source tools for data integration and visualization.
- Specialization in object-oriented programming, scripting, and databases.
- Proficient in Python, Groovy, Shell Script.
