Full Stack Developer

The Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications and software solutions across both front-end and back-end environments. This position works closely with product managers, designers, software engineers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to build reliable, secure, user-friendly, and high-performing applications.

The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, experience with modern web technologies, a solid understanding of databases and APIs, and the ability to work across the entire software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications.
• Build responsive, user-friendly, and scalable front-end interfaces.
• Develop secure and efficient back-end services, APIs, and business logic.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Translate business requirements and technical specifications into functional software.
• Participate in architectural and technical design discussions.
• Develop new features and enhance existing applications.

Front-End Development

• Develop responsive web applications using modern front-end frameworks and libraries.
• Create reusable UI components and maintain consistent application design.
• Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Ensure applications work effectively across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Implement user interfaces based on designs and product requirements.

• Integrate front-end applications with back-end APIs and services.

Back-End Development

• Design and develop server-side applications and services.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and other application interfaces.
• Implement business logic, authentication, authorization, and data-processing functionality.
• Work with server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, C#, PHP, or similar platforms.
• Develop secure and scalable backend architectures.
• Monitor and improve server-side performance and reliability.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs as required.

Database Management

• Design and maintain relational and non-relational databases.
• Write efficient SQL queries and database procedures.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Create and maintain database schemas and data models.
• Optimize database performance.
• Ensure data integrity, security, backup, and appropriate access controls.

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Write and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
• Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Work closely with QA teams to investigate and resolve defects.
• Ensure software meets functional, performance, security, and quality requirements.
• Participate in testing before production releases.

DevOps and Deployment

• Participate in application deployment and release processes.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Use version-control systems such as Git and GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Assist with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Monitor application performance and production environments.
• Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure-related issues.
• Follow established development, security, and deployment standards.

Security

• Implement secure coding practices throughout the application lifecycle.
• Protect applications against common security vulnerabilities.
• Implement appropriate authentication and authorization controls.
• Protect sensitive data and user information.
• Follow company security policies and industry best practices.
• Participate in security reviews and remediation activities when required.

Collaboration

• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other developers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide technical estimates and contribute to project planning.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document technical solutions, processes, and system architecture.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and software development practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one back-end programming language.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
