The Role 

We’re seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong experience in VueJS, PHP, Symfony, and Doctrine to design, build, and maintain scalable SaaS solutions. You’ll work as part of a cross-functional team, owning features end-to-end from design through deployment. The ideal candidate thrives in both front-end and back-end development, enjoys problem-solving, and values writing clean, testable, and maintainable code. 

This is a hybrid role (a few days in the office each month required) based in the Dallas–Fort Worth, TX area. 

We are not able to provide visa sponsorship at this time. 

Responsibilities 

1. Develop and maintain high-quality SaaS applications using VueJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PHP (Symfony/Doctrine). 
2. Build and optimize APIs, database schemas, and integrations with third-party services. 
3. Work primarily with relational databases (MySQL, Redshift). Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus but not required. 
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA) in an Agile environment. 
5. Write and maintain unit/integration tests to ensure reliability. 
6. Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring. 
7. Contribute to system architecture and scalability discussions. 

Qualifications 

Required 

1. 3+ years of professional experience in software development with JavaScript/TypeScript and PHP. 
2. Experience with modern front-end frameworks (ideally VueJS). 
3. Experience with Symfony and Doctrine ORM. 
4. Proficiency with SQL and relational database design. 
5. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. 
6. Strong focus on writing testable, maintainable code. 
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

Preferred 

1. Experience with SaaS product development. 
2. Familiarity with AWS and serverless computing. 
3. Exposure to MongoDB or other NoSQL databases. 
4. Knowledge of data modeling and system design. 
5. Prior experience in EdTech or childcare/education-related software.
