This position is Remote to work with a US Company; you will require to have Citizenship or a work permit from Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina or Salvador to apply for this role.
Role summaryYou will develop and enhance enterprise web and desktop applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable software solutions. This role focuses on full-stack development, application integrations, and continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain web and desktop applications using .NET Core, Flask, Express.js, Angular, and Electron.
- Build responsive user interfaces and scalable backend services.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases.
- Write clean, maintainable code using C#, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Perform unit testing and support defect resolution throughout the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot application, database, and integration issues across development, QA, and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
- Support production incidents, root cause analysis (RCA), and application maintenance.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with QA, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of Full Stack software development experience.
- Strong experience with .NET Core, Flask, and Express.js.
- Experience developing applications with Angular (React experience is also valuable).
- Experience with Electron desktop applications.
- Strong programming skills in C#, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor.
- Experience in the travel and transportation industry.
- Experience supporting production environments and application deployments.
