Team Profile:
The Knowledge Access Squad manages several key products used firm-wide: a cloud Q&A site, on-prem and cloud wiki platforms (open-source and commercial), a cloud-based training video platform, and an internal mailing list archive with a custom web interface. Additional products may be added in the future. As a DevOps team, we oversee installation, engineering, tooling, and user support, including basic documentation for help-desk staff. Our global user base means regular interaction with colleagues worldwide.
Requirements:
- Designing, developing, maintaining, and providing support for crucial applications and frameworks detailed in the Team profile.
- Translating complex, high-level business requirements into thorough functional, technical, and system specifications.
- Taking ownership of DevOps responsibilities for designated products, tools, or components.
- Delivering prompt and effective support to users, investigating queries or issues, and identifying root causes to implement optimal solutions.
- Supporting L2 escalations and user inquiries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in computer science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in content/knowledge management or Python application development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Agile team experience and familiarity with Jira.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps.
- Skilled in automation and scripting.
- Experience with Unix and Windows systems.
Advantages:
- Knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, SaaS APIs, databases such as Postgres, MongoDB and containers such as AWS.
- Ability with service-oriented architecture, OOD, design patterns, and Git.
- Knowledge of Perl, Node.js, shell scripts.
- Background in analytics, statistics, and data visualization.
- Understanding of financial services.
