Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java and related frameworks to develop, support, and enhance enterprise applications. In this role, you will design and implement scalable solutions, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable software that supports organizational growth and operational efficiency. Your contributions will directly impact system performance, code quality, and project delivery in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Software Requirements

• Required: Java (version 11+), Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate/JPA, SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server), Git, Maven, IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, NetBeans), REST API development tools

• Preferred: Front-end frameworks (Angular, React), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps), API documentation tools (Swagger), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)

• Experience level: 4+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack application development in enterprise environments

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable Java-based backend applications and RESTful APIs

• Design and implement intuitive front-end interfaces using popular frameworks, ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility

• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Review code quality, enforce best practices, and participate in regular code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting system performance and security

• Support build and deployment automation through CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools

• Maintain documentation for system architecture, API specifications, and operational procedures

• Support ongoing optimization, performance tuning, and system upgrades

• Programming Languages:

  • Essential: Java (version 11+), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

  • Preferred: TypeScript, frameworks like Angular or React, additional scripting languages (Python, Shell)

• Databases/Data Management:

  • SQL: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server; data modeling, query optimization, schema design

  • NoSQL: MongoDB or similar (preferred)

• Cloud Technologies:

  • Basic understanding of cloud deployment (Azure, AWS, GCP) and container orchestration platforms (preferred)

• Frameworks and Libraries:

  • Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, REST API, front-end frameworks (Angular, React), Swagger/OpenAPI, security libraries (OAuth2, JWT)

Experience Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience supporting full-stack enterprise applications with a focus on Java or similar languages

• Proven ability to develop scalable backend and frontend solutions, with experience supporting large-scale deployments

• Hands-on experience with API design, security protocols, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of data management, query optimization, and security best practices in enterprise systems

• Industry experience in finance, banking, fintech, or enterprise IT is preferred; substantial experience in other sectors with large teams accepted

Day-to-Day Activities

• Design, develop, and support scalable backend and frontend applications with emphasis on API quality and UI responsiveness

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams during sprint planning, code reviews, and deployments

• Troubleshoot and resolve system and code-level issues impacting performance or security

• Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines, container deployments, and automation workflows

• Conduct performance tuning, security assessments, and system upgrades

• Maintain comprehensive documentation regarding architecture, APIs, and build procedures

• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and best practices implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable field

• 4+ years of experience supporting full-stack enterprise applications with Java and front-end frameworks

• Certifications in Java, cloud deployment, or security protocols (preferred)

• Proven experience leading technical development efforts, code reviews, and mentoring peers

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
