About the position
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team.
Join the DUMBO team and develop the software behind our real-time acoustic drone detection system.
You will work across the software stack, including Python backend services, real-time data processing, NVIDIA Jetson edge computers, networking, DevOps, deployment, and user-facing applications.
This is a broad hands-on engineering role. You will build features end to end and work closely with algorithm, hardware, and test engineers to turn complex capabilities into reliable field-deployed systems.
We work in an AI-native engineering environment and expect engineers to use agentic development tools as part of their daily workflow while maintaining full ownership of the code they deliver.
Responsibilities
- Own software features from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop DUMBO’s Python backend, APIs, real-time data flows, and system logic.
- Develop and optimize software running on NVIDIA Jetson edge computers.
- Build and maintain deployment, DevOps, CI/CD, configuration, logging, and monitoring infrastructure.
- Develop and improve user-facing applications and operational interfaces.
- Integrate algorithms, sensors, networking, and other hardware/software components.
- Debug issues across software, performance, networking, algorithms, and hardware.
- Use AI and coding agents effectively for development, testing, debugging, and code review.
- 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
- Strong software engineering and debugging skills.
- Experience developing production software on Linux.
- Experience with backend services, APIs, networking, and software integration.
- Understanding of concurrency, continuous data processing, latency, performance, and reliability.
- Experience with automated testing, Git, and code reviews.
- Ability to independently take a feature from requirement to validated implementation.
- Willingness to work with AI-assisted and agentic development tools.
Skills Required
- 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience
