Job Description
Join our team as a Full Stack ASP.NET Developer, working for our customer who is a worldwide insurance and consulting services provider. You will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of a large-scale data processing application, ensuring seamless data transformations. We look for well-rounded candidates with solid analytical skills, an enthusiasm for taking ownership of features, a strong commitment to quality, and the ability to work closely and communicate effectively.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining the backend using ASP.NET 6.0 (updating to 8.0), with a focus on MVC architecture.
- Contributing to front-end development using jQuery to enhance user interfaces.
- Collaborating on a data processing application that converts XLSX files into XML formats based on configurable rules.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in software development
- Experience in ASP.NET development, with a solid understanding of MVC architecture.
- Experience in working with MS SQL databases and familiarity with SQLite for data processing tasks.
- Hands-on experience with jQuery for front-end development tasks.
- Experience in developing or maintaining applications that involve data transformation and processing.
- Great communication skills
- Good English language skills, both written and verbal
Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) for building rich desktop applications.
- Basic understanding of Azure and Kubernetes, as the project is beginning its migration to the cloud.
- Familiarity with XML and XLSX formats and conversion processes.
