Greenstone is seeking a technically strong and motivated Technology Intern to join the Technology team, based at our Dubai Headquarters for a 6-12 month Internship. The role will focus on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of internal and client-facing applications, working closely with the Technology team to build scalable, user-focused solutions that support the firm’s operations and product offerings.
The intern will gain hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to feature development, system improvements, and ongoing platform support within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of internal and client-facing applications, contributing to the design and implementation of new features and enhancements.
- Assist in building and maintaining front-end interfaces and back-end services, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability of systems.
- Collaborate with the Technology team to translate business and user requirements into technical solutions and application functionality.
- Support debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across existing systems and applications.
- Assist with system testing, including unit testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure quality and stability of deployments.
- Contribute to the improvement and optimisation of existing codebases, including performance enhancements and refactoring where required.
- Support integration with third-party services and APIs where relevant to internal or client-facing tools.
- Assist in the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications, including identifying and resolving post-release issues.
- Contribute to technical documentation, including system architecture, workflows, and development processes.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and support continuous improvement of technology solutions.
- Stay up to date with modern development frameworks, tools, and best practices, contributing ideas to improve the firm’s technology stack.

Skills Required
- Experience building web applications with JavaScript or TypeScript, a modern frontend framework such as React or Next.js, and a backend runtime such as Node.js or Python.
- Hands-on Figma experience designing complete user interfaces, including wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, reusable components, and visual systems.
- Practical Python exposure for data or machine learning, familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow, and enthusiasm for applying AI to real-world problems.
- Experience working with APIs, JSON, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Ability to write clean, testable code and make decisions based on data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaboration, and ownership of design and engineering tasks.
- Valid UAE Dependents Visa or Golden Visa.
- GitHub or project links and examples of Figma work, such as case studies, prototypes, or live designs.
- Advanced Figma skills, including design systems, component libraries, auto layout, usability testing, or user feedback sessions.
- Experience with Next.js, React Query, TanStack, Tailwind CSS, Storybook, or component-driven development.
- Backend experience with Node.js, Express, Python, or FastAPI, with understanding of REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, or AI model deployment.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, containers, or serverless architectures.
- Interest in finance or investment technology.
- Experience designing and testing accessible, responsive, cross-platform digital experiences.
