What you’ll do
We are looking for a Trade and Fulfilment Centre Manager to lead our Wacol Trade and Fulfilment Centre!
You will be responsible for delivering improved safety, service and cost via an engaged team and adding value to the customer experience through growing fulfilment capability.
Leading a first-class team to lead and operate our Wacol facility, creating a safe and engaging culture where team belong.
Lead the Team to deliver year-on-year improvements in safety and productivity levels of the site aligned to Fulfilment Centre industry benchmarks
Work collaboratively with the transport teams to deliver a consistent, superior customer experience
Improve cost to serve and congestion in stores by continuing to explore ways to remove non-core tasks fulfilment tasks from our store network to optimise customer experience
Implement a customer service vs cost to serve methodology that reduces reliance on store fulfilment support to fulfil the customer’s order
Be comfortable and passionate about living the Bunnings values
Who we’re looking for
You will have the demonstrated ability to lead, develop and manage a large, multi-functional diverse team whilst driving a safety and performance improvement culture within a site.
You will have strong decision-making capabilities, excellent communication skills and partnership approach across all levels of the organisation.
Additionally, you will have the ability to negotiate and influence and hold team members accountable.
Well demonstrated experience leading complex fulfilment centre operations (ideally 3+ years)
Strong demonstrated experience leading medium to large scale supply chain facilities
Demonstrated ability to drive operational performance to industry standards (as minimum) in a non-automated Fulfilment Centre environment
Proven track record of analysing current operations, driving change, inspiring action and delivering ongoing CI that provide positive outcomes in service, productivity and cost
Strong demonstrated ability to balance Customer Service vs Cost to Serve when managing Customer orders
Experience across fulfilment automations, supporting trade customers, last mile transport or IR/ER and EBA negotiation experience would be highly regarded
Supply Chain Qualification is preferable
