We're looking for a Full Time RN to join the healthcare team at Madison County Jail. This is a rotating day shift position working 5:45 AM to 6:30 PM, giving you the opportunity to make a difference every time you walk through the doors.

What You'll Do
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
  • Respond to medical needs, including urgent and emergent situations
  • Communicate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the healthcare team
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Educate patients on health and wellness
  • Promote a safe and therapeutic environment
  • Follow facility, state, and company policies and procedures
QualificationsWhat You Bring
  • Current RN license in the state of Alabama
  • Current CPR certification
  • Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
