Squiz is looking to add a Frontend Web Developer (junior/Mid level) to it's professional services team, someone who is looking for a role where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within various sectors. You will focus on assuring our clients get the best result possible (technical and best practice).

Who you are:

For this role, we ask that you can demonstrate:

  • Experience in frontend web development technologies - Javascript (vanilla Js and various frameworks React), Html, CSS etc
  • Experience with website, portals, intranets and CMS
  • Desire to continue coding and being very hands-on
  • Confidence and articulate communication skills
  • Experience in a client-facing role, and skilled at managing stakeholders
  • Experience in planning, designing and building, high-quality, robust websites or applications.
  • Experience at providing technical leadership
  • Analytical capabilities to consider multiple solutions, and assess strengths and weaknesses of each
  • Experience in gathering and writing technical specifications
  • Fluent English and Polish language skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a client facing role - Consulting or Digital Agency

What you would do:

  • Ensure buy-in from development teams and stakeholders to proposed solutions
  • Ensure best development practise is followed
  • Provide accurate estimates on tickets
  • Mentor and provide direction to peer developers
  • Strong, respected partnership with the Agile Project Manager
  • Technical delivery of the project/work to the client’s satisfaction
  • Constant evaluation and validation of technical assumptions
  • Feedback to Development Manager on areas of training / professional development for developers

Our benefits include:

  • Full-time Contract of Employment - fixed term for 12 months (including a 3-month probationary period), with the potential for the period to be extended. Unfortunately we do not offer B2B contracts.
  • Salary: 8,000 - 13,500 PLN/month gross Job Contract
  • Hybrid (office day 1-ce a week) or remote location (office attendance approx. 2-3 per year)
