How you will make a difference
- Take responsibility for the leadership of the team, maintaining close attention to needs and support while making technical decisions
- Support the project and the team while achieving their potential growth, setting goals and acting as a guide towards them
- Guide the team on the use of good practices and remind them on the importance of the quality standards of the code
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Find opportunities to automate manual processes and creatively add value to the project
- Help the team on development efforts towards successful and timely project delivery.
- Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
- Participate and be responsible within the decision-making process
- Support and advise the team on estimating efforts and tasks
- Design and develop applications using technologies and tools such as JavaScript (ES6), Typescript, React…
- Maintain a problem-solving attitude
- Promote the use of new tools and supervise their proper use
What will make you stand out from the crowd
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Valuable previous experience managing development teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in mentoring, coaching and/or leading a development team.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
- Have more than 5 years of experience as a Frontend developer
- Experience working on developing modern and intuitive interfaces
- Ensuring code quality and application optimization.
- Review and provide feedback on code.
- Advanced skills in JavaScript, the primary language used in front-end development.
- Know how to design and develop web applications with Javascript, Typescript and React.
- Familiarity and experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Have experience working in agile and dynamic environments
- Knowledge of semantic HTML and applied to SEO optimization
- Experience with BEM, SASS and/or Styled Components methodology
Desirable qualifications
- Knowledge of build tools and automation ( Webpack, Babel, RollUp).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS…).
- Familiarity with CMS or Headless CMS (Strapi, WP…)
