Job Description
We’re seeking a passionate Front End Team Lead with strong technical capabilities to join us and build a new team. This is a unique opportunity to shape a team from the ground up, lead impactful projects, and directly influence how developers interact with Wix’s ecosystem. You’ll work on complex, large-scale systems, set the technical vision for the team, and help grow and mentor a group of talented developers.

Recruit, onboard, and mentor a growing team of developers

Collaborate with other teams/groups to design and implement new features

Lead the development of front-end infrastructure to ensure scalability, maintainability, and high performance for platform services

Represent your team in technical discussions, ensuring alignment with broader company strategies.

Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices to keep our systems cutting-edge

Lead a site in a different country from the rest of the group
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on scalable and modular systems

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and an eagerness to tackle complex challenges

Familiarity with infrastructure design for developer platforms, APIs, or SDKs is a plus
-
Independent and self educated person, that can lead a team from remote location

Leadership experience, including mentoring developers or managing a team

Experience in building a team from scratch is an advantage

The Editor Platform group is at the core of Wix’s ecosystem, building infrastructure that enables internal/external applications to integrate with and extend Wix’s main services, including the various Wix Editors and Wix site rendering system. Salary range is 4500 - 8000 Eur GROSS / month (Total compensation, including RSU package)
