About the RoleWe are seeking a Frontend Senior Software Engineer to design and develop advanced data annotation tools, including 2D and 3D instance/segmentation annotation capabilities. You will integrate these tools with external annotation platforms and providers, helping us build a seamless data labeling pipeline critical for our machine learning and AI initiatives.
What You'll DoDesign and Develop Annotation Tools
- Build interactive, high-performance 2D and 3D data labeling applications using modern frontend technologies.
- Collaborate with product and data teams to ensure the tools meet evolving annotation requirements.
Integrate with External Platforms
- Work with third-party annotation services, ensuring smooth data flows and user-friendly interfaces.
- Implement APIs and interfaces to seamlessly connect internal tools with external systems.
Improve User Experience
- Design intuitive, robust UI/UX for data labeling workflows.
- Optimize performance and usability to handle complex 3D scenes and large-scale datasets.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React. Demonstrable experience building scalable, maintainable front-end applications.
- Three.js or another 3d libraries expertise. Strong background in 3D graphics programming for interactive data visualization.
- Strong Collaboration & Communication Skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and backend teams.
- Test Automation Experience. Familiarity with frameworks like Playwright or similar tools.
- Python Development. Basic understanding of collaborating effectively with backend or data engineering teams.
- AWS Cloud Infrastructure. Experience deploying and managing frontend applications in the cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
