Coffman Engineers’ Spokane office has an immediate opening for a Front Office Coordinator who is organized, dependable, and enjoys being the first point of contact in a professional office environment. This is an in-office role with opportunities for additional training and growth over time.
The ideal candidate is punctual, reliable, detail oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities while maintaining a friendly, professional presence.
QualificationsKey Responsibilities
- Serve as the front desk point of contact by welcoming guests and answering phones in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage office mail and shipping services (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.)
- Track inventory and order office supplies and food as needed
- Coordinate with office vendors, including coffee service, office supply providers, cleaning services, and building management
- Maintain a clean, organized office environment, including light cleaning and upkeep of shared spaces such as conference rooms and break areas
- Maintain a supply of clean, ready-to-use (empty) workstations for office visitors, onboarding and offboarding, including assisting with the coordination of desk setup/turnover as needed
- Act as the primary point of contact for Word Processing support, including specifications, proposals, letters, reports, printing, binding, and data entry; this work is time sensitive and an essential function of the role
- Arrange travel accommodations, including airfare, hotel, and rental car reservations
- Assist with planning and coordinating company events, including setup and breakdown, ordering food, and purchasing supplies
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Required: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, including formatting, editing, and preparing professional documents
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of staff, vendors, and clients
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
Salary range: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
