Here in Prague, we have teams specializing in front-end development (including mobile, TV, and web), back-end development (Java), DevOps & Platform Engineering, Video Software Engineering, and data science. 

What role will you play? 

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for delivering functionality for our playback experience journeys and creating a richer viewing experience and deeper engagement for web users across in Europe, Africa and United States. 

What You'll Do: 

• Work closely with Product and other Experience teams across the company to design and implement new features. 

• Provide careful peer reviews of changes as part of a team focused on reducing incidents and improving reliability. 

• Create robust automation to ensure stability and quick release cycles. 

• Enjoy troubleshooting and solving complex problems while collaborating with the team to achieve results. 

• Make the best use of all monitoring solutions to diagnose issues and support in-depth analyses. 

• Participate in on-call rotation to resolve production incidents. 

What skills do you need to play your role well?  

• In-depth understanding of JavaScript/Typescript and React JS. 

• Knowledge of playback APIs, DRMs and other technologies around playback is an advantage. 

• Enjoying teaming-up and working side-by-side with other team members as well as in a cross-team environment. 

• Being self-driven and open to learning new things. 

• Creative thinking and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
