Front-End Developer

Client: Our client is a seed-stage crypto fintech company on a mission to enable access to financial services that maximize accessibility, privacy, and freedom worldwide. With a strong focus on Bitcoin, stablecoins, and traditional fiat rails, they are looking for a Front-End Developer to drive the next phase of their growth. This is a remote opportunity for someone who is hands-on, innovative, and passionate about designing and building fintech solutions.

Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Key Responsibilities

Product UI/UX Design (40%)

• Design user-friendly, visually appealing UI/UX for new features, ensuring an intuitive experience.

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma.

• Conduct user research and problem discovery alongside the team to refine design choices.

• Ensure seamless user experience across desktop and mobile platforms.

Frontend Development (50%)

• Implement UI/UX components with modern web technologies like React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Work closely with engineering to bring designs to life and maintain pixel-perfect implementations.

• Optimize the user interface for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.

Project Management (10%)

• Own the product lifecycle from ideation to execution, coordinating with stakeholders.

• Manage the development process, set timelines, and ensure smooth execution of projects.

• Align design and engineering efforts with the company’s broader product and business goals.

Qualifications

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design and frontend development.

• Experience building and implementing frontend components with React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.

• Proven ability to manage projects, set timelines, and collaborate cross-functionally.

• Portfolio showcasing both design work and frontend development projects.

Skills

• Strong expertise in UI/UX design tools like Figma.

• Ability to translate user needs into compelling and functional product designs.

• Frontend development proficiency in JavaScript, React, TypeScript.

• Familiarity with agile product development environments.

• Basic understanding of digital assets, Bitcoin, and stablecoins (e.g., have you used a Bitcoin wallet?).

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

• Excellent English command, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have

• Experience with design systems and component libraries.

• Familiarity with backend development (e.g., Node.js, APIs).

• Background in fintech, SaaS, or startups.

• Bilingual (English + Spanish or another language).
